I am waiting for the proof copies to arrive here (Tuesday).

Once we are 100% happy with everything, the button gets pressed. Then the item comes online after a few days. I am looking at the beginning of February.

The Chris Charlesworth book has always been The Bible for Slade fans. It told the tale. This book looks at the records and gives a year by year commentary. We are hoping that it will be the book Slade fans want. It celebrates their success and when they had a tough year, it doesn't go all showbiz and gloss over it. The recorded music is the star, though. When you get your copy, play the records.

Ian, you and Chris definitely took the right approach. Feel The Noize is a great book and provided fans with an excellent biography of the band. The only thing that would make that book better is if Chris Charlesworth were to issue a revised edition covering 1984-1991. There really isn't a need for anything beyond that from a biographical perspective. However, from a musical perspective, an analysis of Slade's catalogue accompanied by commentary from a noted & respected Slade historian and an accomplished & respected musician will bring new and interesting insights to light. The Noize is destined to become the difinitive Slade reference manual.
