My copy arrived as well today and a great job it is. Having unfortunately missed out on seeing the band in concert back in the day, looking through the photos they give a great impression of what it must have been like seeing the boyz in action on stage back then. The quality of the pictures are great and once again together with The Noize this book is a must for any self respecting Slade fan.

I thought youth , exuberance and Slade were an energy that would last forever ...

Sadly not as time and tide etc

But thanks to our intrepid host we have this priceless artefact to thumb through and remember just how great those Slade nights our were !!

Mine is coming on Monday!! Looking very good indeed!!! Can't wait to see it. I also have all the Blurb books Ian! They should become collectors items? What a nice set of photos from that time. I myself was at a couple of these concerts!! I remember the one at the Civic Hall Wolverhampton in 1979!!! Slade where promoting the album "RETURN TO BASE". Another rare album!!!

Just letting you know the my copy of 'SIX YEARS ON THE ROAD' has arrived today (10minutes ago). I have just flicked trough it, and I must say what a brilliant job you have made of it. Fantastic!!!!! Seen some photos of the 1979 Gig at the Civic Hall. there is one shot of Slade taken from the balcony. This is where I sat with my then girlfriend and now my wife. (Page 53) The memory is flooding back now!!!. I can't believe this. Brilliant!!!

Jim will get his copy when I get another copy spare - I was going to give one to Frank Lea at the convention, but he was whisked away from Chris and myself, so I sold his copy on the day, as someone attending really wanted one.

I think we know the answer to this one, let's not forget they are a bunch of luddites from yesteryear who probably don't even own a computer let alone know how to use one.

Jim's daughter is very helpful with Internet matters. I am sure Nod and Dave have whatever help they require available too.

We know Don is great, and Jim is getting more out there, but I don't think your hear anything from the other two.

I would love it if they prove me wrong.

Finally got mine Ian as the guy who ordered it for me has been off work for a couple of weeks but just to say another brilliant book from you and boy do I remember them years well, priceless memories and as you state you had to be there and I'm glad I was another bible for slade fans

What if they DO have computer skills you know nothing about ... and they see posts like this one...do you think that would make them MORE or LESS likely to want to engage?
