A photo book would be a great thing, but people own photographs and getting clearances from the photographers and paying them involves a level of bureaucracy that is pretty daunting.
My next book projects are a book of guitar photos, a collection of live concert photos (which will include Slade, but if you have the Six Years book, you will have them all) and also work will continue on my Who Discography book which promises to be a massive piece of work.

i have ordered mine ,but just a question to you both if possible can you give us some feed back from the band about the book as that would be great
as don will love it (star man) hopefully dave and jim but i know nod was sceptical on biographys as he said if its not what happened then he wouldnt entertain reading the book by any author ( so after the fantastic zoom interviews with him and gathering more in depth info from the man himself)
i hope he loves the book and congratulates you and chris on a fantastic second edition and says its the real deel

We had good feedback from them about the 1st edition and they will all receive copies of the latest one asap (as soon as we can afford it

You can use anywhere that you post pics online - Facebook etc.
Just get the web address of the image.
Click the image button to the right of the * above the box you type in.
That will give you two image tags and the first looks like this: [img]
The second looks like this: [ /img]
Paste the web address of your picture between them and submit your post.

Mine arrived today and it looks the dogs bollocks.
Just about to open it and the wife says she will buy it me for Xmas. Proceeds to nick off with it and tells me she will wrap it up and I can have it on Xmas day. Doh!

The question is floating round as to whether the fan names that are in the hardback second edition will be in the new paperback version of the book. That's the plan...... at the moment, anyway.
The second edition paperback looks like being made available soon, probably in early December.

My copy due Saturday but as it's currently only 20 miles away I suspect it will be earlier.
