A bit of news regarding a very special one-off collector’s edition of THE NOIZE….

Ian and Chris will be attending the 2019 Slade Convention on October 19th. We will be making a very limited edition upgraded and updated version of The Slade Bible 'THE NOIZE' available at the Slade Convention event. The books collected at the Convention will be in a special unique cover and will all be signed by both of the authors and numbered (# / 100). The 100 print maximum will not be exceeded. A carrier bag will be provided at the Convention. You won’t be disappointed by the book. It looks great. The content has been expanded and updated. The limited edition copy of the book will cost £20 (which is less than the Amazon list price for the regular edition).

TEN RANDOM PRE-ORDERED COPIES OF THE BOOK COLLECTED AT THE CONVENTION WILL CONTAIN AN EXCLUSIVE 10"x8" COLOUR SLADE LIVE PHOTO, NOT AVAILABLE ELSEWHERE.

You can order multiple copies. You can name someone to collect it at the Convention for you if you are unable to attend.

FORUM MEMBERS WHO CAN'T ATTEND THE CONVENTION CAN NOW ORDER THE BOOK.
I have been asked about copies of the special edition by a number of people, who can't get to the Convention, so it's clear that people do want to get a copy. This is not being extended to Facebook. It is being restricted to members of the forum.

Costs:
UK £25 including packing and postage.

OVERSEAS £20 plus actual cost of packing and postage.
(Pay £20 to reserve, then balance when actual P&P cost is known)

Books will be sent out as quickly as possible after the Convention on October 19th.

HOW TO PURCHASE THE CONVENTION EDITION.
To reserve a book, follow steps one and two - your pre-order is not complete without both steps.

1. Contact us by email to christopher.selby1@btinternet.com to get your name down for a copy.
AND
2. Your advance order must be completed by sending your payment of £20 (or Forum price) via Paypal to Chris Selby - christopher.selby1@btinternet.com - so we can print your book.

You have buyer protection via PayPal.

3. These books will be printed for the Convention and all copies ordered MUST be collected at the Convention event from 1pm until 5.30pm. If anyone fails to attend the convention, their copy will be mailed to them, conditional to the extra P&P (Royal Mail tracked + signed for) incurred being paid by the buyer before sending.

The cut-off date for the very last orders will be 2nd October. We will take further orders (at the Convention) for mail order if we sell out of copies at the Convention, subject to the maximum of 100 copies. There will be some extra copies printed to be put on sale on the day (cash sales), but they will not be there for long, so to avoid disappointment, please order your copy in advance. Once they are gone, they are gone. There will not be a re-run of the special edition.

Anyone wishing to reserve a copy must contact Chris and use PayPal or a bank transfer to be arranged with Chris.

We will accept cash on the day for copies that we take as extras that are not pre-ordered.

Just to let everyone know, we have just now ordered all of the copies of the Convention limited edition that have been ordered so far. Chris Selby will have them in a week. No copies will be released before the Convention.

The Fan Convention edition of THE NOIZE sold out of absolutely all of the copies that we had printed.
We ran out of copies on the day. Sorry.

We have the flexibility to print just a few more copies, to take the book up to its full print run of strictly 100 numbered copies. We can do these by mail order.

I have been asked what is different about the Convention Edition book to the regular edition that is on Amazon.

As Chris has said on Facebook, we could have sold the 100 copies but we had some people renege on buying. If we had got the full 190 printed we'd have sold out on the day.
