This looks like an amazing publication Ian and Chris, and with you both being such huge Slade fans from two very distinct points in time, I am very confident that your collaboration on this book will indeed be a definitive text that all die-hard Slade fans will cherish for years to come.

Very exciting indeed, and I truly hope that you both make a decent earner - commensurate with the work you have have done- on what has clearly been a labour of love.

As many on this forum would be aware, I am from a "completist" in regard to the recorded works of Slade, however those heyday years of 1971-1976 were a vital (probably an understatement) part of my formative years from age 11 to 17 when Slade truly did rule my world!

However, what you can do is please keep this esteemed forum up and running, so Slade fans the world over can catch up, converse, opinionate, discuss, and generally mull over all things Slade.

Having been a contributer to the forum for the best part of 20 years, I have enjoyed the conversations, polls, discussions and analysis immensely, so please keep it going, as personally - without wishing my life away - I cannot wait until March (albeit October for me) 2022 for the 50th anniversary of the Slade Alive! and Slayed? albums. I am not holding my breath, but wouldn't it be amazing if we were to get some kind of official DVD release marking the occasion?!
