As I didn't have the opportunity to see Slade in Flame when it screened in Melbourne for a couple of weeks in early 1975, this paperback "novelisation" was all I had to go.
Because of this I loved it! I must have read it at least 4 or 5 times within a couple of years.

I loved it too. Even the bit about pissing in the petrol-tank!
