Jim Lea's John Birch Bass

Jim Lea was given this EB-3 style John Birch bass to replace his white Gibson EB-3, that was unfortunately stolen from the John Birch workshop while it was in for an overhaul.

It remained Jim's main stage bass from 1977 onwards.

We have two sets of detailed photos here.

This first set is from the John Diggins workshop in 2014, courtesy of John Diggins.

This second set of photographs are from 4th November 2022, taken at Jim's home.
